Fraser & Housty was established in 2004 out of desire of its founders, Stephen Fraser and Teni Housty, to provide the widest range of commercial legal services to potential clients. Both Fraser and Housty were vastly experienced Attorneys, at the time of founding, and their combined experience and resources created the platform for the firm’s aggressive development as a service provider.

Stephen Fraser, S.C.
Attornet-at-Law, Head of Chambers
Admitted to the Bar in Guyana in November 1985 and was conferred with the Honour of Senior Counsel in 2019.
He also served as lecturer in the Law of Tort, Contract Law, Legal Research and Writing, and Constitutional Law at the University of Guyana during the period 1989 to 2003.
Teni E. Housty
Attorney-at-Law, Legal Consultant
Admitted to the bar in Guyana in October 1996 and the Trinidad and Tobago Bar in 2007.
He is also a lecturer at the University of Guyana in the areas of Human Rights Law and Intellectual Property Law. He is currently President of the Bar Association of Guyana.
Sydney A. Fraser
Attorney-at-Law
Admitted to the Bar in Guyana in October 2024.
Sydney earned her LL.B. from the University of the West Indies, Mona, graduating with First Class Honours. She went on to complete her Legal Education Certificate at the Hugh Wooding Law School, where she graduated on the Principal’s Honour Roll.
